About The Position
Marketing Coordinator - 4-Month Contract/Summer
The Marketing Coordinator position will primarily assist and support our Marketing & Brand Manager with executing our marketing and brand strategy, while delivering an exceptional Policyholder experience.
The successful candidate will have a keen understanding of digital marketing and analytics and be eager to use their creative talent to enhance Ayr Farmers Mutual’s online presence. If you’re a natural collaborator, who possesses strong communication skills and a knack for exceptional customer experiences, this role is for you.
This role will spend time both remotely, on-site and at various locations across Southwestern Ontario. Access to reliable transportation is an asset.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide support for the execution of Ayr Farmers Mutual’s marketing strategy, plans and campaigns to promote the AFM brand and meet business objectives.
- Evaluate and report performance of all digital campaigns and assess against our business objectives.
Identify and address trends and insights to optimize our connection with Policyholders and potential Policyholders in the communities we serve. - Ensure that all inquiries and reviews provided are responded to in an engaging and timely manner.
- Research, evaluate and bring forward recommendations on new and emerging technologies.
- Assist with creation-to-completion of company, Policyholder, and employee photography, videography and spotlight interviews.
- Promote and attend corporate and community events, including branding and marketing coordination support for tradeshows and other AFM-sponsored events in the community
- Be an active participant in maintaining the Company’s desired culture by living our values.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Enrolment in post-secondary education in a marketing or business program is preferred.
- Experience with digital marketing, an asset
- Creative, outside-of-the-box thinker
- Strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently.
- Effective organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Collaborative team player with a high level of communication skills. This position requires working closely with many areas of the organization.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment that requires balancing competing priorities.
